Shakti Naam: A precise application of sound, movement, breath, and mudras for complete health! Incorporates standing postures and deep breathing techniques that open your energy channels, bringing radiant vitality to the body and mind.
What to expect: Some seated and standing movements, breathwork, and meditation.
Livestream on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00am-12:00pm Pacific
Naam Meditation: Mantra meditation that invokes the power of the word and sound vibration to center one’s mind and emotions on self-healing, positivity, joy and transformation. Open to all levels. Mantras are shared on screen in class.
What to expect: Powerful or calming breath practices followed by mantra meditations. Dr. Emily shares aspects of her background in Chinese medicine to deepen the understanding of the energy flow in the body when applying different mudras (hand positions). Mantras are projected onscreen in class for easy learning.

About Your Teacher
Dr. Emily combines her background in Chinese Medicine to guide students through specific exercises to open and unblock specific meridians for their own self healing. Western science is just starting to study the ancient healing capacities that yoga and meditation bring to the body and Dr. Emily brings the most recent research to the understanding of why meditation works and in what areas of the brain and body it activates. If you keep hearing breath work, yoga and meditation are good for you and have always wondered why, come to class and experience the ancient techniques with recent discoveries.
