Vinyasa + Breathwork Description

This practice will strengthen your physical body and electromagnetic field, stretch your lungs and limbs, and focus your mind and emotions. Expect to leave feeling deeply connected with your highest self, uplifted, and a bit sweaty! Accessible for all levels, modifications offered for injuries and new yogis.

These 60-minute vinyasa flow classes are designed to appeal to all levels with options and modifications offered throughout. Sequences will vary week to week. Props are recommended, if available, but not necessary. These classes stream live Wednesdays at 5:30pm PT.
One hour of pure relaxation is the goal with each class. These sequences are designed to allow the body to naturally unwind and release the body with minimal effort and ideally without intense sensation. Props are recommended for this class, ideally 2 blocks, a strap, a blanket, and a bolster (substitutions may include books, towels, belts, pillows, etc.). These classes stream live Sundays at 4:15pm PT.

Kate started practicing yoga more than a decade ago as a public service to those around her. What she discovered was so much more.

Years of dance and athletics, followed by time spent in demanding corporate environments had created extreme imbalance in the body.
Yoga provided an opportunity to explore a marriage of the yin and the yang; a sustainable approach physically and mentally, to a vibrant,
mindful, and active life.
Eventually, Kate combined her passion for marketing and business with her desire to share the life-changing gifts of yoga with others. She became the director of Exhale Venice, part of a national boutique fitness brand that operated a Venice Beach yoga mecca for over a decade.
Kate has nearly completed 500 hours of Annie Carpenter’s SmartFLOW yoga training, and has also trained with Shiva Rea, Aaron Reed, Kate Duyn Cariati, and Mary Dana Abbott, in vinyasa flow, restorative yoga and pranayama. She is Barre certified by exhale and teaches other fitness modalities including HIIT (high intensity interval training), cardio, and sculpt.
In addition to serving on the board of the Venice Chamber of Commerce, Kate has a corporate wellness consulting business, leads retreats nationally and globally, and teaches public classes, privates, and special events around Los Angeles. She has been featured by brands and publications such as ClassPass, LA Yoga, DINO Apparel, Five Star Hippie, and Shama Brazil. Kate lives in Venice with her husband and two dogs, and hopes to see you on the mat soon!
